KinderCare’s Free Day of Child Care Helps Families Find Summer Balance

06/17/2025

Free child care available for a limited time at participating centers across the country

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., June 17, 2025 — As families start to find a balance between their work and out of school time this summer, KinderCare Learning Companies, Inc. (NYSE: KLC) (“KinderCare”),  a leading provider of high-quality early childhood education, announced today that it will offer a free day of child care at participating KinderCare Learning Centers nationwide.

This summer initiative follows findings from KinderCare’s annual Parent Confidence Index, which revealed that more than half of parents say securing high-quality child care feels “impossible,” but when it is achieved, 90% agree it gives them confidence as a parent.

KinderCare operates nearly 2,500 early learning centers in 41 states offering differentiated full- and part-time flexible child care solutions, with a whole-child curriculum designed to build confidence, curiosity, and kindergarten readiness. Enrichments and daily activities support children’s academic, physical, and social-emotional development in a nurturing, safe environment.

The free day offer is running now through July 25, 2025, and is available to families with children from six weeks old through 6th grade who are not currently enrolled in a KinderCare Learning Companies program. Availability may vary by location.
